Cisoto Fotonovelas

Hussy's screen captures of Latin American telenovelas.

Tip of the Dreamcap

Daveid mentioned this here blog in his dreamcaps blog, which was nice. Daveid's screen captures have been favorites of mine ever since he was a regular contributor to the Campfire Discussion Board, and his various sites (starting with, I think it was, skincaps.org) made me think, hey, I'd like to do something like that, too!

Daveid mentioned, "I have tried to cap a few [telenovelas] before -- I managed to sit through a lot of UGA UGA despite the language barrier -- but it's hard for me to watch something where I only understand about one-fiftieth of the dialogue." I can relate, as I don't actually know Spanish or Porguguese, either. I find that I can only follow one or two telenovelas at a time with any sort of regularity, and that's only if they feature guys I really, really like. Even then, though, I find I usually burn out and stop watching the novela after two or three months. (I lasted longest with "Angel Rebelde", starring Victor Noriega, but even that one I stopped watching during its final few months.) This would explain why my capturing of various telenovelas sometimes seems so inconsistent, in case anyone was wondering. So why do I do it? Well, I like the guys, it's fun, and besides, no one else is capping this stuff with any sort of regularity, so it makes me feel that I'm contributing something original to the online screen-capture landscape.
